Paudie and John have been playing together regularly since their early twenties and it has always been an ambition of theirs to record an album with the unusual combination of Box and Pipes, celebrating the repertoire of the Sliabh Luachra region. Their new release Wind and Reeds is the realisation of this long held ambition - bain taitneamh as!
They are joined on guitar by Corkman, Jim Murray. Jim has recorded and toured extensively with artists such as Sharon Shannon, Séamus Begley, and Frankie Gavin and his tasteful chords add wonderful colour to Paudie and John’s music. Not to be missed!
