LIFE DRAWING WORKSHOP

A one day intensive 5 hour Life Drawing Workshop under the guidance of Michael James Rowley. The workshop will investigate the traditional artists medium of chalk pastel as the participant explores the interaction of colour while drawing the male and female form from life. Life Drawing is the traditional artists tool of drawing the human figure from life. While the emphasis of the workshop is chalk pastel. Michael encourages participants to bring their own preferred medium. Please note materials are not provided and participants must be aged 18 or over. Easels, clips and drawing boards are

Michael is a professional artist exhibiting on a regular basis. He has taught Life Drawing at U.C.D. since 2004 and has recently been invited to teach at N.U.I. Maynooth by the Arts society. Michael has a M.A. in Fine Art from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, A M.A. in History of Art and Design from the University of Limerick and a M.A. in Education from Trinity College Dublin.
